The best way to do this is to brush and floss at least twice a day or after every meal if possible. Alongside brushing and flossing, diabetes sufferers will need to schedule regular visits to our office once every 6 months for a dental cleaning. While regular brushing and flossing will prevent a lot of bacterial buildup in the mouth, regular dental cleaning will make sure your mouth is totally clean.
